Professor Richard Nicholas

Richard is a Neurologist at Imperial College London. He is part of the MS Research Team carrying out academic and commercial studies. He is also the clinical lead at the UK MS Register and the primary consultant for this study.

Dr Rod Middleton

Rod is the Principal Investigator and System Architect of the UK MS Register. He has extensive experience of data linkage, ICT Systems, health informatics and direct healthcare provision, and is the principal data processor for this study.

James is a Neurologist working at Imperial College Hospital NHS Trust and is the secondary consultant for this study.

Alexandra is a PhD student at Imperial College London. After four years of studying Neuroscience and Neurodegenerative Disorders, she is pursuing her PhD investigating the early features of Multiple Sclerosis.

Hajer is a research assistant at King’s College London, previously working as MS Tissue Bank Data Manager at Imperial College London. She has a background in Computer Science and Neuroscience and will soon be pursuing her PhD at King’s College London at the Centre for Neuroimaging Sciences.

Dr Annalaura Lerede

Annalaura is a Postdoctoral Researcher at King’s College London. She completed her PhD in AI for Healthcare at Imperial College London, focusing on developing and validating digital markers of motor and cognitive impairment for people with MS. Her background is in engineering, data science, machine learning, and cognitive neuroscience.

Professor Adam Hampshire

Adam is a Professor of Cognitive and Computational Neuroscience at King’s College London. His research focuses on understanding human cognition, how it relates to brain function, and how it is affected in clinical populations. He developed Cognitron, an online platform to measure human cognition at scale, which will be used in this study to measure cognition in relatives of people with MS.
